Actually, your "Note" was quite useful (I guess, I don't need to say something about the layout ... it looks more like an error message ;) ). But you should specify or give examples what you mean with "Type" ... That wasn't very clear to me.
Weaknesses & Comments:
After I hit the "Search inDeed" Button ... something should happen... I would recommend to display a "Loading..." icon or something like that ... because I asked me, if something happened, or if I missed to hit the button ... just a thought.
I would add a "headline" or "name" for your project (the same for the title: "Iteration II" ???).
The "logical flow" of your page is strange ... You should move the search bar above the map ... because you start with typing the search criteria and AFTER that the results are displayed on the map ...
For iteration 3 you should thing about working on the layout ;) ...
Also I was wondering, why in "Detroit" are only 10 job postings for "secretary" ... do you only get 10 results back from your api?
Strengths:
Easy to use (maybe you should have some "job type proposals" in a drop down list that the user gets an idea what she/he could type in as "type" ...
Nice integration of the search result list and the Google Map.
All in all, this is a very nice combination of api's and ideas. What I missed is, that you could display e.g. ALL JOBS in Detoit ... when i just search with location="Detroit" i just get 10 random jobs back ... but there must be more ... I guess ;)
