to comment back to Jeff and Mike's blogs about Agile Spaghetti.

I agree with Mike, some of us are not so good of programmers - So Agile method is not in the very comfortable Zone. But for others like Jeff, it gets on top of the list.

Through surfing last night, I ran into this google video by Elisabeth Hendrickson - which is little over an hour long. I found it to be very helpful, it was very interesting to see how agile testing works in real life in google quarter. Video was published in 2005 , amazing to see how agile method have grown over two years. Have fun watching it over the break.

Review - Iteration 3 - Whereismycaffeine

I am reviewing iteration 3 of whereismycaffeine

Strength:
Layout is great as always. Idea about adding specials/coupons is great; it will give another reason for customers to come to your site instead of searching through 10 other sites to see what specials each site is running. You can maybe have an additional section of the 10 top rated best coffee shops, etc for future iterations.

Weakness:
It would be great if you guys actually buy domain to have it running. I can see it being used by local community (coffee store owners) to get there name and reviews out.

I am reviewing MCubed's iteration 3.

Strength:
It was huge improvement in the sight style/css. Site looked much user friendly. I especially liked the "see result by location" it kind of gives the visual of where one want to be in particular job industry. You guys have great ideas for future also. Excellent work!

Weakness:
I agree with prof. Gibson regarding the home page being the index page on the website. I think you guys should have instruction page available for user's who are confused and wondering but have the main page as Mash up.

I am reviewing TeamExtream's iteration 3.

Job well done.

Strength:
I am proud that it all worked out. Great job. In my opinoin, this team was doing pretty well in almost every iteration, but audiance interaction was kind of missing. I liked the idea of having fourm to solve that problem. Google search seem to integrate well with that too. I am sure, my brother who is in love with sports will enjoy using this site.

Weakness:
You have done too well.

1. We have added User Login window

Website looks great. If you want to know more in detail check our presentation.

I am not sure if it's just me or others are similarly receiving same kind of email tracking for blogs.

Is anyone else experiencing the same?

Iteration 2 Reviews - ISA Site Mashup

Hurray for you guys. I thoroughly find this site to be very useful. I am reviewing Team ISASiteMashup in this blog, team Project can be viewed here and ppt can be found here.

Strengths:

Good working site in both IE and Firefox
Great idea to improve the ISA site even further, this does add a lot

Weakness:

Map size is little small
I would like to see list of restaurants also on the right hand side for user who are more into ‘lists of places’ instead of ‘mapped pins’
Instead of buttons on the map – It would be nice to see them listed under or the side of the map
I like Rosie’s idea of bringing also American restaurants in there too; I agree a lot of international students are also interested in eating at American restaurants
To improve appearance and implementation with actual ISA site, it would be nice to keep the same color scheme as the ISA site.

Overall, great progress from iteration1!! Can’t wait to see next iteration! Keep it up.

Iteration 2 Review - HackNMash

Good concept, this organization is really needed! I am reviewing Team HackNMash in this blog, team Project can be viewed here goals for the next iteration are listed here.

Strengths:

Great concept
I like the layout of the webpage, it looks very clean
Easy to use

Weakness:

I had hard time finding what you are actually ‘mashing’, then after searching a bit I ran into the actual google powered events calendar
It seems like website is loaded with a lot of information, a lot of what user can actually look up going to their actual site. So, what is the real value of coming to your site?
To get to the calendar page, I was forced to another page (new window opened)  Why not show the calendar on your website. Also, when I was surfing the calendar, I was forced to step out of actual website three times, to get to the actual event information. It would be really neat if you can implement this information in actual calendar.
There are some issues for the website to open in IE

Overall, great progress from iteration1!! Can’t wait to see next iteration! Keep it up.

Iteration 2 Review - AJACS

A great site for tourists especially people who would want to visit India. I am a visual person so pictures really leave a memory. I am reviewing Team AJACS in this blog, team Project can be viewed here and ppt is the here.

Strengths:

I like the size of the info window, and it is very user friendly with added scrolls.
I also like the Layout of the webpage

Weakness:

To make it more user friendly, it would be nice if all the places you have in the pull down menu are alphabetized
Since, you are showing a good size window at the given location – why not also add the news headline there too. On the other hand if you want to leave the news on the right hand side then maybe adding a scroll down be very helpful, so when users is reading news they don’t have to go down the whole site to read the news.
In the info window, sometime it is taking user to flicker site, and sometimes it is showing actual pictures – Why?? (for example, It was showing flicker site instead of pictures for Jamu and Kashmir)

Overall Great work! Can’t wait to see iteration 3! Keep it up

Thanks for providing a sample demo login that thoroughly helped. Last time I was not really able to maneuver it around properly because I was not a facebook member. Strengths:

I like the front page with all the info about the project for the new users
Actual Mashup web page also looks great with good size map

Weakness:

I am not sure if that the issue is only with demo account – but the picture in the info window is showing only when clicked from side list, picture does not show if it is selected from the map.

Great work! Can’t wait to see iteration 3! Keep it up

Where is My Caffeine – website looks really cappuccino (that was my term for saying it looks great)! And further more knowing that all the information on the site is 100% correct make your website even more unique. I am reviewing Team WhereisMyCaffeine in this blog, team Project can be viewed here and ppt is the here.

Strengths:

Look of the site is very nice and pleasant; especially background color sets the mode for coffee.
Website is easy to use
I like info window loaded with address, time and other info.

Weakness:

Maybe, it’s just my computer but map is taking some time to load.
You are mashing data from local coffee shops, goggle maps, and Flicker, but to access pictures from flickers user have to switch the webpage and then type in the tags to access actual pictures. It would be really neat if pictures can be actually inserted into the info window as another tab.

Website looks good, can’t wait to see iteration 3! Keep it up

Strengths:

I also like the instruction page put in front for new comers

Weakness:

There is no title on the page
It’s little hard to see where each job location is located. It would be really helpful if you can also pull out name of the city with the title of the job (on the right hand side).
Instead of giving link to “more information” and clicking it again to get to the actual job posting – It would be really neat if initial information is shown in the info window and then rest can be accessed upon the click.
