I am reviewing MCubed iteration 2 that Matthew announced in his blog.
Strengths
1.Very simple interface, yet user friendly
2.Search is relatively fast and the page is reponsive
Things to improve on
1. The results on the right hand side does'nt tell me the location. You can either add location in the result list on the right or follow a numbering scheme that'll tie the result items to the markers (numbered in this case). A nice to have feature
2. Need a title and a short message telling the user about what the site is all about
3. Fix the height of the result list (right) column and the google map column. You can make the result list scrollable, to make the google map appear at the same location for every search. Its kinda moving around now.
4. The site appears to be appending the search results until I clear everything using the button. Was this a planned feature ? Not sure whether this is of any help to the user. I guess, it should startover for all the search without having to click a button
