at this link you can find a new incremental version of our MYB project.

As you remember we added a second tab for the buddy markers, containing the favorite music of the individual buddies. Now we are using this information to retrieve CD information from Amazon. When you click on the second tab you will see the CD cover, the artist, the title, the price and a link to Amazon to actually buy the CD.
I am afraid we could not use the Amazon recommendation system. It is not part of the API. The only thing that we could have used is the similarity search. But here we had the problem that we need the specific Amazon ASIN to identify the product. So we would have needed yet another request, one to search for the ASIN and one for the similarity search. This would have slowed down our whole site, while not producing better results than the normal product search, which we are using now.
