FireFox Issue

Well, sure enough the scroll bar doesn't exist.  I did 98% of my portion of this project on a widescreen LCD that runs at native 1680 x 1050.  As a result, everything more than fits, and a scroll bar is never needed.    I should have tested this on multiple machines,  poor quality control on my part.  Sorry ConcerQuest teammates.

ConcerQuest Project and Presentation

Here it is, as promised:

The PPT Slides:  people.emich.edu/tdavison/ConserIteration3.ppt

The Project:  people.emich.edu/jkeswick/IS449/project/project_final.html

If anyone has any questions, let me know.

No Longer Tinkering

ConcerQuest Team...

I'm pretty sure you guys already know this, but the formatting is done.  Jason, you are going to need to host the site on your people.emich.edu site.  I've compiled the info from the reviews, and will finish the schematic tomorrow int he AM.  I'll be sending an email in a few minutes.  Please check for it when you get a chance, it is important.

ConserQuest Re: Joe Comments

Thanks.  It took a while to figure the best way to deal with formatting the Mapquest instance.  It’s best to keep is simple.  I was definitely making things tougher than they had to be.

I like what you did Todd.  Do you guys want to meet up before class to go over a few things?  Let me know what you think.  I will send out a email just in case you guys dont get back here.

I’m going to the school a bit early tomorrow.  I definitely think all three of us should meet an hour or so prior to class.

The main page is done.  I'm just finishing up the secondary ones now for the About us, contact  information and so on.......  I like the routing stuff Jason, pretty cool.

Re: ConcerQuest Progress

I'm still chipping away at the site formatting.  Things are definitely looking better.  I've also begun to compile the data from the student reviews.  That has been interesting,  but I'll blog about that later.  I made sure to email Jason and Joe in case they haven't checked the blog today.  Oh yeah, and thanks for the feedback Davida.

ConcerQuest Progress

Things are looking a little better since class.  I started over from scratch, and no longer use the pre-defined dhtml template.   I am, however, still using parts of the CSS file.  After digging a little deeper on the MapQuest forum, others seem to be having similar issues with the its format unpredictability.  Regardless, I think I've got this worked out.  This is where we stand as of last night:

ConcerQuest: Links to Trouble Spots

The MapQuest API is very picky about formatting.  See the following examples....

Links:

people.emich.edu/tdavison/format6.html

people.emich.edu/tdavison/take3.html

This one works, but without the CSS file.

people.emich.edu/tdavison/NewStart2.html

MapQuest's API

We've got some issues that continue when formatting a page with the MapQuest's API.  It is very temperamental.  Cross browser issues are also now factor, something that never existed before.  I've stripped this thing down to its bare bones, and it still persists on ocassion.

ConcerQuest Update

I had intended to post this earlier, but I've been pretty sick the last couple of days.   Jason and Joe, you've probaly been to the index of my site, but in case you haven't people.emich.edu/tdavison/format5.html.  Obviously there are still some issues, that I am still working on ironing out.
