Raji,

I has been fixed the problems you listed below.

The map scrolls up and closes when the user clicks on the icon for viewing the rating of any university

Removed the IP address in the view review page

Changes in the instructons for the Apartment panel

Other grammar changes

Removed the Show all ( all universities in the four state area) item from the drop down menu

I hope that I can fix all of the problems. However, due to timely manner, I am not sure if it's posible to fix some problems.

I found the pattern that may be useful to develop the Ajax application.

A pattern describes an optimal solution to a common problem within a specific context.

From the IAWiki:

EducationChUser testing on the Firefox 1.5&2.0 IE6.0&7.0

Hi Team,

I have had a chance to test the EducationChUser on Firefox 1.5 2.0 and IE 6.0 7.0.
We got a very good result. The EducationChUser works very well in all of them.

I think our last prototype is now free of any major problems.

I think that great; however, I think that we should fix the cross browser problems and get the last prototype done by Nov 29th and get some comments from users. Then the last week we can prepare for the presentation.

Does anyone know how to take the data from XML containing the namespace??

I tried to study how to take something from the XML format that contain the namespace like EVDB Atom.

Some parts look like this.

I have no clue how to take the data from the tag .

I seem to be using namespace "gd".

I have just found the AJAX library after I went through thelink that ravi gave us.

I think this library is very nice and I wil try to use it in our project. It support cross-browser working.

So we won't have any issue about cross browser.

Apartment information from craigslist

Hi team,

I think we are not able to take the information more than we can do now due to the limitation of the service provided by craigslist.

I think the Massup guy who develop the hosuing mashup should properly get permission from Craiglist to take some information more than the RSS feed. I believe that if we work with the craigslist team, we will definitely be able to do something like the housing mashup. However, due to time constraint and how far we have succeed for the project, I think what we did should be enough. SO we just fix the cross browser issue and apply some change to our project.

Hello Concerquest Team,

This is a very good progress compare to the interation1. I did not see any problem regarding the cross browser. Good job!!!

However, I think that there is a big space on the right of your map. I agree with Raji that you may find some information relating to your project to put in the space or rearrange your page to make it look better.

Also when I tried to search like the picture below. The event in Texas was shown on the webpage.

Review on kayakers's prototype2

Hi Kayakers,

I seem like you have solved the problem due to cross domain issue. Great job for this iteration. I really like the idea to find the information about the hotels from each area.

However, I thik it would be better if you have the fields (city, state,date and ..) to seach the hotels after you get the result also. It would be nicer if the users don't have to reload the page to find the hotels again w/ new criteria.
