I had planned on having the presentation to you all already but got caught up doing quite a bit of work for another class.

In response to your earlier blog; nothing much happened in class on Wednesday.

We discussed our results from the IS 215 reviews and then we talked a little bit about the progress we have made towards the next iteration. Finally, we discussed what is expected of us for the final presentation.

I have already, or am in the process of, addressing the issues you conveyed here.

I have already talked with Ravi who has been tasked with compiling the results from the reviews we have been given, I have reviewed Dr. Gibson's criteria for iteration 3, and I knew the demo should be before everything else (because that is the format Dr. Gibson has wanted all along).

The only thing I am missing is the "what new things we would do if there is a prototype4." This shouldn't be too hard to do, but I would appreciate any suggestions you all have.

No worries. I know what you mean about deadlines, especially around this time of the year.

I have been in contact with Ravi who is compiling a list of the reviews from 215 and Nattakorn is compiling the presentation for tonight, to the best of my knowledge.

I am working on the final presentation, and will present it to the class next Wednesday. I will try to get it out to you guys this weekend so you all will be able to take a look at it well before it is presented.

I think the first idea you have here is perfectly feasible. We should just be able to change the zoom level and the focal center point of the map. The users that I have shown the site to have made similar comments to me; wanting to know why the map shows the entire country whenever we focus on only four states.

I think if we could center the map on the four states the site would initially make more sense to first time users.

I think you have a good idea here. I think this would allow us to gain an insight into how our users view the site and what things they would like to see on the site, or features they would like to have added.

I think that we will have to add some sort of security features to this idea, not unlike the security features we have added to the user review portion of the site. This would prevent the reviews being watered down by people that do not provide accurate information.

This is GREAT news.

I think if we are able to guarantee that our site is free of defects that we might be able to add a couple of new features in the coming weeks before our project is due.

I know I have previously blogged about not adding new features, but if we have worked out all of our cross browser issues, I do not want us to just sit on our hands and wait to present our project three weeks later.

As I have previously mentioned to both you all and Dr. Gibson, I will be unable to attend class this Wednesday, November 29, 2006.
