I would just like to start off by saying that you all are making good progess to date in the class.
I think you all are providing the good information here, that can easily be used by many. I especially like the updated speed to your site.
I do have a few constructive criticisms for your project. They are as follows:
1. I think the site would be more effective if the lay out of the site were laid out a bit better. It seems as though, from reading Dr. Gibson's blog, that you all may be thinking of doing this, but he is warning against it. I think that if you all are careful, you should be able to update the HTML portion of your site with no problems. It will probably take a little bit of hard work, but more importantly, a lot of patience.
2. I think that links to the hotels listed in the search results might be a nice addition, because it would allow the user to click over and book their reservations if they saw something they liked.
3. I noticed one problem while viewing your site, while searching for hotels in Alamogordo, NM, I noticed that after I clicked on the results of the search, the wrong hotel was displayed in the map. For instance, if I choose the Super 8 motel, the information for the Hampton Inn was displayed.
These are just a couple of things that I noticed, and by no means do you have to implement them. I just thought they might make your project a bit more user friendly. I think these are all minor adjustments that could be made relatively easily to make if you have the patience to get to the root of the problem.
